Stainless Steel Garlic Press
When a recipe calls for garlic throughout a sauce, dressing or sauté, a handheld press can save the fine-chopping step. Place a peeled clove in the chamber, close the handles and press over the bowl or pan where you want the garlic to go.
Design details
The pictured tool has two metal handles, a hinged head and a perforated pressing plate. The images show one garlic press from several angles, so you can inspect the head and handle shape before ordering. No cleaning insert or detachable accessory is shown; exact dimensions and alloy grade are not specified.
Useful for
- Adding garlic to a quick pan sauce or vegetable sauté.
- Mixing fresh garlic into a dressing or marinade.
- Preparing a small amount of garlic without a separate chopping session.
Care
Open the press after use and remove any remaining garlic from the chamber. Wash the perforated area thoroughly, rinse away trapped pieces and dry the tool before closing it for storage. Keep fingers clear of the hinge while pressing.
